Gravel Rides Wales

A brand spanking new guidebook in the making

This past year has been spent exploring the motherland, searching high and low for the finest ribbons of gravel Wales has to offer, and we are truly spoilt here. From the grand and majestic mountains of Eryri, to rugged coastlines that stretch the entire length of the country, to the wild moorlands of mid-Wales and yet even more peaks in the south, when it comes to spectacular scenery, we seem to have it all.

Not to mention the main ingredient: gravel! From smooth, champagne gravel winding through beautiful forests, to the kind with, shall we say, a bit more character out on open moorlands and hillsides. There’s something here for everyone, whether you're just dipping your toes into the world of gravel cycling, or you're a seasoned veteran looking for something new.

Two cyclists descending along a gravel landcover track, nestled in a beautiful valley.
Four female gravel cyclists riding their bikers along a towpath next to a canal in dappled light through trees.
A cyclist descending gently with mountain views in the background.

Due to be released next autumn by Vertebrate Publishing, stay tuned!
